Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservations using Toast Tables Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries as well as takeout orders Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support the dining team by ensuring tables are prepared promptly and guest needs are met swiftly Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness protocols in all guest interactions and work areas Requirements Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant setting Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Toast Tables Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively Basic math skills for handling seating calculations and reservation adjustments Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to remain energetic, positive, and attentive during busy service hours Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional guest services!
