Job Description We are looking for a host or hostess who can present a positive first impression of our establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Hosts and hostesses will be responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter guest names into our software, show guests to their table and bid guests farewell as they leave. Making our guests experience from start to finish is extremely important, and a host or hostess is the first and last person to be seen while in the restaurant. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude, great energy, ability to work as a team and well under pressure. Responsibilities Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on our waiting list software as necessary Ability to work with an IPAD Quoting wait times for our guests Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions Seating guests at tables, informing waitstaff of tables and assisting in getting greets for a table as necessary Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary Helping with other positions in the restaurant as needed Providing great customer service Performs basic cleaning duties during service to ensure your area is clean and organized Clearing and setting tables throughout the shift Cleaning duties during and after shift Apply NOW!
