What You'll Be Doing Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their purchases or inquiries in a lively, happy, friendly manner Accurately processing cash, credit, and digital payments using Toast POS Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the checkout and dining area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Serving as a second or third in food prep — if necessary — and supporting other staff by managing order accuracy and timely transactions Handling food handling procedures carefully, adhering to safety protocols during meal service or catering events Assisting with menu planning and meal preparation when needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge and knife skills Ensuring you provide such exceptional service that makes it impossible for our customers to leave without leaving us a 5 star review. Qualifications Previous experience in food or hospitality (entertainment, hotel/lodging, cannabis) is strongly suggested but definitely not necessary. We will train the right candidates. Exceptional customer service and social skills ARE required. This is not a position for the socially reticent. Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, & food handling procedures is highly preferred, but not necessary. Knowledge of food safety standards & proper hygiene practices in a kitchen or food service environment. Experience with catering settings is a plus, showcasing your ability to serve high-quality meals to people who care about their food. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to ensure an engaging customer experience. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Basic understanding of menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques (knife skills). Compensation
