Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest service skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems. Communicate wait times to guests and assist them in understanding the dining options available. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist with phone etiquette by taking reservations and answering calls in a professional manner. Support guest relations by providing information about menu items, specials, and events. Qualifications Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to enhance guest interactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others create memorable experiences.
