Overview Join our dynamic team as a Host, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or similar platforms Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and reduce wait times Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, handling reservation inquiries and guest questions effectively Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety protocols by ensuring cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting areas Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems, including POS systems like Aloha POS, is advantageous Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and guest billing inquiries Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe dining environment Experience in phone communication, demonstrating professionalism and proper phone etiquette This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
