Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and positive attitude as they arrive Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using OpenTable. Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and guest needs Answer guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Monitor wait times and provide accurate wait estimates to guests while managing guest relations diplomatically Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and adherence to safety standards Requirements Previous host/hostess experience in a busy restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable Experience in food service or restaurant operations is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism Knowledge of hotel or guest services experience is beneficial but not required Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional guest service!
