If so, we'd love for you to join our team as a Part-Time Host at Royal James! About the Role As a Host, you are the first and last impression our guests experience. You'll greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm, manage the flow of the restaurant, and help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

What We're Looking For:

A fun, engaging, and happy personality — someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet Positive attitude with a natural ability to stay calm under pressure Reliable and flexible — we need hosts daily , and we're looking for someone who can be consistent with their availability No heavy outside commitments that require frequent schedule changes Previous restaurant experience is not required — this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to break into the food and beverage industry!

Position Details:

Part-Time position 1- 3 shifts a week Shifts are typically 4 hours long, but can be shorter or longer depending on business volume Most shifts are weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greet and seat guests Manage the waitlist and reservations efficiently Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Answer phone calls and provide information about the menu and hours Maintain a clean and organized host stand Assist with light side duties as needed Help solve guest concerns quickly and professionally If you're someone who lights up a room, loves the energy of a busy restaurant, and wants to start a career in the food and beverage industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
