$11.00-$13.00 per hour Looking for a daytime restaurant job where you can meet people, stay active, and work with a supportive team? Midtown Cafe & Dessertery is looking for a friendly, dependable host to help guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Our hosts help set the tone for every visit. Beyond greeting guests, you'll manage seating, keep the front entrance organized, and communicate with the team to help service run smoothly. The Schedule This is primarily a daytime position, typically Monday through Friday. Some weekend availability is a plus for occasional shifts as needed. What You'll Do Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome. Manage the waitlist and seating rotation with attention to table availability and service flow. Answer phone calls and assist with guest questions. Support takeout orders when needed. Keep the entrance and host area clean and organized. Communicate with servers and managers about seating, waits, and guest needs. Thank departing guests and invite them to return. Help teammates during busy shifts. What We're Looking For A welcoming personality and an interest in taking care of guests. Dependability, punctuality, and a positive attitude. Clear communication with guests and coworkers. The ability to stay calm, organized, and attentive in a busy restaurant. Comfort managing several tasks and working on your feet. A willingness to learn, accept coaching, and support the team. Previous hosting or restaurant experience is welcome, but it isn't required. We'll provide hands-on training to help you feel confident in the role. Why Join Midtown?
