As a Host, you will coordinate reservations, manage guest flow, and ensure every visitor feels valued and comfortable from arrival to departure. Duties Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently Maintain clear communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest seating and wait times. Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations. Monitor guest flow during busy hours to optimize seating efficiency while ensuring guest comfort. Assist guests with special requests or needs, demonstrating excellent guest relations and hospitality skills. Keep the host station organized and clean, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times. Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management. Background in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality enhances your ability to excel in this role. Familiarity with hotel guest services or serving roles can be beneficial for understanding guest expectations. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are vital for managing reservations and guest inquiries.
