Duties Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with clear communication, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times accurately to guests Assist with guest services by addressing special requests and ensuring smooth flow of service Support food safety and cleanliness standards in the host area, adhering to health regulations Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and cash handling if needed Organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and guest flow efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Experience with POS systems and hotel or restaurant experience is a plus Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and courteous in a fast-paced setting Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
