PART-TIME FINE DINING HOST / HOSTESS

Il Capriccio | Whippany, NJ Tuesday-Saturday | 5:00 PM-10:00 PM | $20/hour Il Capriccio is seeking a polished, personable, and professional Host/Hostess to be the face of our fine dining restaurant and provide exceptional hospitality to our guests. Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival and provide a gracious farewell. Manage and confirm reservations and maintain an organized seating flow. Develop relationships with our guests and remember names, preferences, and special occasions. Check on guests throughout their dining experience and respond to requests with professionalism and discretion. Communicate closely with the General Manager regarding reservations, guest needs, and service. Assist servers and bussers during busy periods to help maintain smooth and efficient service. Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in upscale or fine dining is required. Sophisticated, polished, and exceptionally well-spoken. Warm, friendly, personable, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain composed and attentive in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and excellent attention to detail.
