Responsibilities Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with excellent guest relations skills. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. Oversee guest services, ensuring all guests receive attentive and personalized attention throughout their visit. Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to handle special requests, dietary needs, or seating preferences. Maintain clear phone communication with potential guests and manage reservations via phone etiquette that reflects professionalism. Support the team during busy hours by organizing table assignments and assisting with guest inquiries promptly. Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of restaurant table management systems such as Toast pos, Open Table Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise. Solid organizational skills to handle reservations, guest flow, and seating logistics smoothly. Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing procedures when necessary. Familiarity with food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
