Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through the reservation process. Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow. Maintain organized table management, ensuring timely seating and efficient use of space. Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette. Handle guest check-in and check-out processes accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS. Process payments swiftly and accurately at the cashier station, ensuring proper cash handling and transaction recording. Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness at the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols. Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall dining experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant operations during busy hours. Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant setting is preferred; food service experience is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and payment processing efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
