Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. A passion for customer service and hospitality is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests. Utilize the Aloha POS system to manage tables and track guest preferences. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure excellent guest relations and service quality. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for this role.
