Host / Greeter - Side Door Social Side Door Social is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable Host / Greeter to join our team. This is an evening-focused position and a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere. As the first and last person many of our guests will interact with, you'll play an important role in setting the tone for their experience at Side Door Social. Responsibilities Warmly greet every guest as they enter the restaurant Welcome guests with a friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude Seat guests and manage the flow of the dining room Assist with waitlists and communicate estimated seating times Answer basic questions about the restaurant, menu, and seating Keep the entrance, host stand, and waiting areas clean and organized Help clear, wipe down, and reset tables when needed Assist servers and other team members during busy periods Monitor the dining room and help keep tables turning efficiently Thank guests as they leave and help ensure they had a great experience Represent Side Door Social in a positive and professional manner at all times What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with guests Positive attitude and strong customer-service skills Reliable and punctual Able to stay organized in a busy restaurant environment Willing to help wherever needed Able to stand and move around for extended periods Available primarily for evening and weekend shifts Restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person About the
