Job Overview This is a dinner shift. Must be available to start at 2:00. Mostly 2 weeknights with some fill in weekends. We are seeking an energetic and friendly Part Time Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, creating a positive first impression for every guest. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. As a vital part of our team, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and assist with guest relations to foster a warm and inviting atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring they feel welcomed Manage restaurant reservation systems, including booking, confirming, and updating reservations efficiently Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and reservation details Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Assist with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track seating and reservations Support food service staff by ensuring smooth guest flow and timely seating, enhancing overall guest experience Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for managing reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting Experience with POS systems and restaurant technology is a plus Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional throughout shifts Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
