Job Description

The first impression matters, and that's where you come in. The Pour House at Machinery Hall is looking for a friendly and organized Host to greet guests, manage wait lists, answer phones, and help keep the front of the restaurant running smoothly. If you enjoy meeting new people and can stay calm during busy shifts, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly attitude. Manage the wait list and seating chart. Answer phones, take carryout orders over the phone and in person, and assist guests with questions regarding ordering or reservations. Coordinate seating with servers and managers. Help keep the entrance and host stand clean and organized. Thank guests as they leave and invite them back.

Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills. Comfortable multitasking in a busy restaurant. Reliable and punctual. Previous host or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Evening and weekend availability.
