Position Summary Hosts play a key role in the overall guest experience, from the first greeting to supporting service throughout the shift. This position requires strong communication, awareness of the floor, and a willingness to stay engaged. Hosts help keep the restaurant running smoothly by supporting seating flow, service pace, and guest needs. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression Manage waitlists and seating flow efficiently Bus and reset tables to maintain a clean, welcoming dining room Assist with running food when needed Support to-go orders and guest pickup Communicate clearly with servers and managers to support smooth service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area Stay proactive during slower periods by preparing the floor for the next rush Follow all company policies and service standards What We're Looking For Friendly, professional, and dependable Comfortable speaking with guests face-to-face Willing to stay active and help where needed Calm, organized, and aware during busy shifts Reliable, punctual, and accountable Restaurant experience preferred but not required — we're happy to train the right people Our Core Values Everything we do at Tamashii is guided by these five core values.
