Job Description

Must have week day availability! In this role, you will be the guest's first and last impression — managing reservations and the waitlist, seating guests with care, and setting the tone for their entire visit. The ideal candidate brings genuine warmth, sharp organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-first environment. Hospitality is the number one priority. It is the main focus of our services and that is not negotiable. Hospitality is a decision that needs to be made repeatedly in a thousand small ways - in the way that our team treats people - in patience, presence, and pride. It isn't what you do for guests, but who you become for them. It is unscripted, unrehearsed and can't be faked. Hospitality is in the moment our team chooses connection over convenience, which tells our guests "You matter here.' Core Responsibilities Greet every guest immediately and warmly upon arrival, making the first move and setting a positive first impression. Manage reservations and the waitlist accurately using RESY, collecting guest count, time, date, and phone number for every booking. Answer the phone within two rings with an upbeat greeting, providing accurate information on hours, menu pricing, parking, and reservations. Seat guests promptly and thoughtfully, balancing guest counts evenly across server sections to maintain fair, efficient service. Communicate proactively with servers, kitchen, and management on large parties, conditioned tables, and any seating or timing issues. Maintain a clean, organized host stand, dining room, and entryway, including restrooms, mirrors, doors, and table resets. Process take-out and delivery pickups accurately, confirming payment and order contents before handing off. Deliver a warm farewell to every departing guest, thanking them by name when possible and inviting them to return. Requirements Previous experience in a hospitality or guest service role preferred Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette Proficiency with reservation and table management systems (e.g., RESY) or the ability to learn quickly Warm, professional demeanor with genuine attention to detail Ability to remain calm, polite, and solution-oriented under pressure Strong memory for names, faces, and guest preferences A team-first attitude and willingness to support servers, bartenders, and management Flexible availability, including weekday, evenings, weekends, and holidays Must hold or be able to obtain required certifications (e.g., R.A.M.P., ServSafe) within 30 days of hire
