Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
• Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant
• Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
• Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or requests
• Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth flow of service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

Qualifications:

• Previous experience using OpenTable is highly preferred
• Ability to help and communicate effectively with guests and staff members
• Strong guest service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Knowledge of food service and hospitality industry practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
