Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Assist in seating guests according to seating chart or guest preferences
• Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and efficiency
• Assist in maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the dining area

Experience:

• Previous experience as a host/host or in a customer service role preferred
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent guest relations and customer service abilities
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication
