Responsibilities Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive, making them feel welcomed and comfortable Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservations Maintain organized seating charts and monitor table availability using restaurant management systems Assist guests with special requests or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Uphold food safety standards and promote guest relations through attentive service and positive interactions Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Strong communication skills, including clear phone communication and active listening abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently Basic math skills for managing waitlists, billing procedures, and table counts accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and guest relations best practices Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
