Duties Welcome guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring a warm first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in guest seating to optimize table turnover Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and relay messages accurately Coordinate with the dining team to assign tables, monitor wait times, and accommodate special requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area and waiting list records Use restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track seating and reservations Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant setting Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly phone communication Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills for handling waitlist calculations, table counts, and billing procedures when needed Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join our team where your hospitality skills will shine!
