As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for their visit by providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements with the dining team to optimize flow and reduce wait times Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus, reservation sheets, and waiting lists Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth communication and seamless service delivery throughout shifts Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience working in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for guest interactions and team coordination Knowledge of guest services, serving protocols, and hospitality standards highly desirable Ability to handle busy periods with professionalism while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality skills can shine!
