Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using our restaurant table management system. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and clear communication skills Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times accurately to guests Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety practices and uphold cleanliness standards in the host station area Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred, along with food service experience Strong communication skills, including phone communication and customer interaction Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tables and guest requests efficiently Basic math skills for managing waitlists and seating calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to remain energetic, friendly, and professional in a fast-paced environment This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on creating welcoming atmospheres.
