) Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and addressing inquiries. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Monitor the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests. Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace, escalating issues to management when necessary. Assist in training new staff on host/host duties as needed. Skills Previous host/host experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong background in food service and hospitality, with a focus on customer service excellence. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
