Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems as needed. Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials, answering any questions they may have about the menu offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, managing reservations or inquiries with excellent phone etiquette. Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and courteously. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is advantageous. Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus, enhancing your ability to provide top-notch guest services. Ability to multitask in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
