Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a friendly and inviting atmosphere Manage restaurant reservations using various table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating arrangements Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle waitlist management efficiently Coordinate seating assignments with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction Maintain organized guest lists, wait times, and reservation records with strong organizational skills Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene and cleanliness protocols in the host area Communicate effectively with guests and team members to address special requests or concerns promptly and courteously Qualifications Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills to handle seating calculations, waitlist management, and billing procedures Experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs simultaneously Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
