About the Position Most days, you'll work as part of our front-desk team—welcoming guests, scheduling appointments, answering phones, checking guests in and out, and helping the salon run smoothly. Approximately one day each week, your focus will shift to guest relationship-building: calling and texting guests, filling appointment openings, welcoming new guests, reconnecting with guests we haven't seen recently, and introducing services and membership opportunities. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys traditional front-desk hospitality but also likes having goals, taking initiative, and helping grow the business. What You'll Be DoingAt the Front Desk Creating a warm, polished welcome for every guest Answering phones and responding to guest messages Scheduling, confirming, and adjusting appointments Checking guests in and out accurately Recommending and selling Aveda products Introducing relevant services, promotions, and memberships Supporting service providers and fellow team members Keeping the front desk and guest areas organized Handling guest questions and concerns with confidence and care During Your Guest Relationship Day Calling and texting current, former, and prospective guests Helping fill available appointments Welcoming new guests and helping them discover WHOLE Following up with guests after their visits Reconnecting with guests we haven't seen recently Introducing membership opportunities and additional services Tracking conversations and follow-up needs Working toward booking, membership, and guest-retention goals You May Be a Great Fit If You… Genuinely enjoy taking care of people Are warm, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations Can stay calm and organized in a busy environment Are confident speaking on the phone Pay close attention to details Follow through consistently Are comfortable recommending products, services, and memberships Enjoy working toward measurable goals Can accept coaching and apply what you learn Understand that every interaction shapes the guest's experience Salon, spa, hospitality, retail, sales, or customer-service experience is helpful—but personality, reliability, confidence, and a willingness to learn matter even more.
