Front Desk Clerk Sleep Inn & Suites Allendale 4869 Becker Dr, Allendale, MI 49401 Sleep Inn & Suites Allendale is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Front Desk Clerk to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and can work well independently and as part of a team. Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred , but not required. Training will be provided. Job Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner Check guests in and out of the hotel Answer incoming phone calls Make, modify, and assist with guest reservations Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns Process payments and follow proper cash-handling procedures Maintain an organized and professional front desk area Communicate important information with other shifts and hotel staff Assist with laundry and light cleaning as needed Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards Complete other front desk duties as assigned Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred Friendly and professional attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable answering phones and working with computers Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks Ability to work independently when necessary Willingness to learn hotel procedures and reservation systems Must be able to maintain professionalism when handling guest concerns Schedule We are hiring for: 1st Shift 2nd Shift 3rd Shift / Overnight Flexible availability is preferred.
