Allen & Baughman is a successful, high volume, general practice firm located in Zanesville, Ohio. The firm focuses on banking, real estate, estate planning, administration of estates, representation of small businesses, municipal law (including prosecution of misdemeanor offenses), landlord/tenant, adoption and family law. The firm also operates a real estate title agency, and employees have the opportunity to become skilled in supporting and processing real estate transactions and closings. Beyond the traditional work, the firm operates as a family unit, enjoying different health, wellness, and community events together. Key Responsibilities As a receptionist and administrative assistant, your primary task is to support the paralegals, title officers, and attorneys through administrative tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, answering phones, organizing files, running errands, managing the appointment schedule, and document preparation. All employees must adhere to strict confidentiality regarding client files and business-related information. Employees are expected to have good judgment and take the initiative in assisting others to create a positive work environment. Normal business hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in person, Monday through Friday. Employees must be able/willing to commute to the physical office in Zanesville, Ohio for business hours. Required Skills, Qualifications, and Attributes

High School Diploma/GED
Background check
Notary Public (or ability to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment)
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (telephone, email, in-person)
Ability to proficiently type, proofread, and draft documents
Strong time management skills (tasks, scheduling, appointment management)
Organizational skills to maintain document management systems
Highly capable of learning new technologies and software systems
Team-oriented, hardworking, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Prior experience (at least one year) working in a legal AND/OR administrative setting
Microsoft Office 365 proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Clio proficient
