Job Description

Does your office have a view of the Gulf of Mexico? It can. Holiday Isle Homeowner's Association has an immediate need for an experienced HOA Manager to handle the day-to-day operations/management of our 145-unit condominium complex located on beautiful Dauphin Island, AL, located 30 miles southwest of Mobile, Alabama.
Position Description Summary:
The primary role of the Association Manager is to be the on-site manager of all daily operations. The position is responsible for all business and services, including Personnel, Communications, Building and Facilities maintenance, Safety and Security, Community and Public Relations and management of the Budget. Job does require some weekend work especially during peak season. (March - September) The Association Manager is responsible for the overall management and hiring of the staff including maintenance, janitorial and administration in compliance with the HOA rules and workplace policies. The Association Manager is responsible for budget preparation with guidance from the board ,and operating within the HOA budget. The position is expected to manage the complex according to the by-laws and rules of the HOA, while maintaining compliance with guidelines of all federal, state and local laws in conducting the business of the association. The ideal candidate will possess both a proven history of management/leadership experience, budgeting and a proficient skill set in the software applications necessary to operate the HOA in an efficient manner.
Experience Requirements:
Previous experience as an HOA Manager or Property Manager Strong managerial background; demonstrated leadership of deputies Education and/or experience in budget preparation and management of a budget Ability to respond and resolve staff and home owners' issues/concerns in a professional and timely manner Provide excellent customer service to all homeowners, including excellent oral and written communication skills including social media proficiency (NABR portal) Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Must be capable and proficient in the use of required computer systems, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Accounting software Must have excellent organizational skills to maintain all files for 145 units, as well as various building maintenance contracts, insurance policies, etc. Must be able to pass a work history background investigation and have a clear drug screening Education-High School diploma is required as well as a two year degree and/or equivalent work experience.
