This position will manage multiple projects at various stages, ranging from major hotel renovations to smaller property repairs and improvement projects. The Project Manager will work closely with our General Contractor, third-party vendors, hotel General Managers, Operations leadership, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are properly scoped, assigned, budgeted, tracked, and completed on schedule. The ideal candidate is a strong project coordinator who understands construction and renovation processes, is comfortable managing multiple vendors and competing priorities, and can maintain clear visibility into the status, cost, and next steps of every active project. Key Responsibilities Project & Renovation Management Manage multiple hotel renovation, capital improvement, repair, and maintenance projects simultaneously. Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, priorities, and completion schedules. Coordinate renovation activities while minimizing disruption to hotel operations and the guest experience. Track projects from initial scope and bidding through execution, punch list, and final completion. Conduct property visits as needed to evaluate project progress and identify outstanding items. General Contractor & Vendor Management Serve as a primary point of contact between the company, General Contractor, subcontractors, vendors, hotel management, and Operations. Coordinate with the General Contractor to ensure projects and work orders are properly assigned to the appropriate teams. Monitor vendor performance, project progress, deadlines, and completion of assigned work. Follow up proactively on outstanding deliverables and address delays, incomplete work, or other project concerns. Maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring accountability for agreed-upon scopes, pricing, timelines, and quality. Bids, Purchase Orders & Project Costs Solicit, obtain, and compare vendor bids and proposals. Review scopes of work to ensure bids accurately reflect project requirements. Coordinate approvals and prepare or track purchase orders for approved projects. Monitor project expenditures, invoices, change orders, and committed costs. Identify potential cost overruns or scope changes and communicate them to leadership before additional work is authorized. Project Tracking & Reporting Maintain organized and accurate project trackers for all active renovation, repair, and capital projects. Track project status, budget, purchase orders, vendor assignments, completion percentages, deadlines, and outstanding action items. Provide regular project status updates to leadership and Operations. Identify project risks, delays, or roadblocks and escalate issues requiring additional support or approval. Maintain project documentation, including bids, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, photographs, and completion records. Quality Control & Project Closeout Review completed work against the approved scope and project expectations. Coordinate punch-list items with contractors and vendors and follow through until completion. Ensure outstanding deficiencies are corrected before projects are considered complete. Maintain appropriate documentation for completed projects and final costs. Qualifications Qualifications3+ years of experience in construction project management, renovation project management capital projects, or a related field. Experience managing multiple projects and/or locations simultaneously from initial scope through completion. Strong experience coordinating general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Experience soliciting and reviewing bids, negotiating vendor pricing, creating and tracking purchase orders, and monitoring project costs. Ability to develop project schedules, track milestones, identify delays, and provide regular progress updates. Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, permitting, building codes, and job-site safety. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate project documentation and manage competing priorities. Hospitality, hotel renovation, multi-site commercial construction, or occupied-building renovation experience is preferred but not required. Ability to travel to hotel properties throughout the assigned portfolio as needed. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: Hotel renovations and property improvement plans (PIPs) Guest room and public-area renovations Hotel brand standards Multi-property or multi-site project management Capital expenditure projects Construction or General Contractor coordination Vendor bidding and procurement Renovations within operating hotels What Success Looks Like The successful Project Manager will maintain clear visibility across all active projects and be able to provide leadership with accurate, timely information regarding project status, budget, vendor responsibilities, outstanding purchase orders, upcoming deadlines, risks, and next steps . This individual will take ownership of project follow-through and ensure that contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders remain aligned from initial scope through final completion.
