Overview Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta NE/Gwinnett Sugarloaf is seeking an energetic, hands-on, and service-driven Front Office Manager to lead and elevate our Front Desk team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about developing people, improving guest satisfaction, and creating a culture of accountability and excellence. The Front Office Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the Front Office, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from arrival through departure. This leader will coach, mentor, and inspire the Front Desk team while driving Hilton brand standards, Hilton Honors enrollments, guest satisfaction scores, and departmental performance. We are looking for someone who enjoys being present in the operation; not managing from the office. Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop the Front Desk team through daily engagement, training, and performance feedback. Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable work environment. Conduct new hire onboarding and ongoing training on Hilton brand standards and hotel policies. Complete performance evaluations and participate in coaching, disciplinary actions, and recognition initiatives. Ensure proper staffing levels and create weekly schedules based on business demands. Hold team members accountable for attendance, professionalism, and service standards. Lead by example by working alongside the team during busy periods. Guest Experience Deliver exceptional guest service while ensuring every interaction reflects Hilton's hospitality standards. Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally while empowering team members to recover service opportunities. Monitor guest satisfaction scores, online reviews, and guest feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure guests are recognized appropriately through Hilton Honors benefits and personalized service. Promote Hilton Honors enrollments and educate guests on program benefits. Front Office Operations Oversee all daily Front Desk operations using Hilton's Property Engagement Platform (PEP) Property Management System. Ensure accurate guest check-in and check-out procedures. Monitor room inventory, room assignments, early arrivals, late departures, upgrades, and walk situations. Ensure proper authorization and payment procedures are followed. Review shift reports, cash handling, and cashier balancing. Perform Night Audit duties when necessary. Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and company policies. Maintain accurate guest records while protecting confidential information. Operational Excellence Partner closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Sales to ensure seamless hotel operations. Conduct daily lobby and Front Office inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Review daily arrivals, departures, VIP guests, group arrivals, and occupancy forecasts. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Assist the Operations Manager with departmental projects, reporting, and hotel initiatives. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Front Office experience in a hotel environment. Minimum 1-2 years of hotel supervisory or management experience required. Previous Hilton brand experience strongly preferred. Experience using Hilton PEP Property Management System (PMS) preferred. Strong understanding of Hilton brand standards and guest service expectations. High School Diploma or GED required.
