About the Position 405 Luxe Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor for one of our hotel partners. This is a 1099 independent contractor position through our staffing agency. The ideal candidate has previous hotel engineering or facilities maintenance experience and is capable of leading the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property while ensuring guest rooms and public areas remain in excellent condition. Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the Engineering/Maintenance department. Assign, prioritize, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion. Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building systems. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with hotel standards. Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and equipment records. Coordinate with outside vendors when necessary. Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and hotel policies. Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours maintenance when required. Train and mentor maintenance technicians as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as an Engineering Supervisor , Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or Hotel Maintenance Supervisor. Hotel maintenance experience is strongly preferred . Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance. Ability to read and complete work orders. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor and outdoor environments. Preferred Qualifications Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or other branded hotel experience. EPA Certification (preferred but not required). Pool certification is a plus. Preventive maintenance (PM) experience. Experience supervising maintenance staff. Compensation & Employment Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Weekly pay through 405 Luxe Staffing Solutions. 1099 Independent Contractor position.
