About the Opportunity A growing hotel management company is conducting a confidential search for an experienced General Manager to lead a hotel in the Eagan, Minnesota market. We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven hospitality leader who takes ownership of the entire operation, from guest experience and team culture to financial performance, revenue strategy, and the physical condition of the hotel. This opportunity is ideal for a leader who enjoys being involved in the operation, developing people, using data to drive decisions, and creating a culture of accountability and genuine hospitality. What You'll Own Guest Experience:

Drive guest satisfaction by creating a culture where taking care of the guest is everyone's responsibility.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing hotel team while establishing clear expectations and accountability.

Financial Performance:

Own the hotel's P&L, including labor management, expense controls, forecasting, budgeting, and flow-through.

Revenue Performance:

Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel revenue while remaining competitive within the market.

Brand Standards:

Maintain strong brand compliance and ensure the hotel remains prepared for quality assurance inspections.

Asset Care:

Maintain a strong preventative maintenance program and ensure the physical condition and cleanliness of the hotel meet expectations.

Sales & Community Engagement:

Maintain a visible presence in the local market and support efforts to develop relationships and grow hotel revenue.

Leadership Presence:

Be visible throughout the hotel, engage with guests and associates, and lead from the operation, not simply from the office. What We're Looking For Previous hotel General Manager experience strongly preferred; accomplished Assistant General Managers ready for the next step will also be considered. Select-service hotel leadership experience preferred. Experience with a major hotel brand strongly preferred. Proven ability to improve guest satisfaction and operational performance. Strong understanding of hotel P&L statements, forecasting, budgeting, labor management, and operational metrics. Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, develop, and hold teams accountable. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A leader who is comfortable setting expectations and following through. Ability to balance guest experience, associate engagement, financial performance, and asset stewardship. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the hotel.
