This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing the store's day-to-day operations, and ensuring seamless collaboration between the Starbucks and hotel teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational, operational, and interpersonal skills, dedicated to upholding Starbucks standards and enhancing the guest experience. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the store's operations, including inventory management, quality assurance, and compliance with Starbucks and hotel brand standards. Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and productivity. Ensure the store operates within health, safety, and food handling regulations. Monitor sales performance, set revenue goals, and implement initiatives to achieve targets. Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service. Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and motivation. Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels for peak and off-peak hours. Uphold Starbucks' mission and values to ensure an outstanding customer experience. Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure alignment in guest service expectations. Analyze financial reports and implement cost-effective solutions to optimize profitability. Oversee cash handling, POS systems, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions. Act as the primary liaison between Starbucks corporate, the hotel management team, and staff. Participate in hotel meetings to align goals, special events, and guest needs. Qualifications Prior Starbucks experience strongly preferred. Proven experience in food and beverage or retail management required. Strong understanding of financial performance metrics and operational efficiency. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs. Previous experience managing a Starbucks store or equivalent brand. Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service standards. Certification in food safety or management training. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for up to 8+ hours during a shift. Ability to lift, carry, and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds (e.g., boxes of inventory, equipment, or supplies). Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to retrieve products or equipment. Ability to move around the store quickly and safely to manage operations and respond to customer or team needs.
