Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while leading a team of housekeepers. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to standard. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and floor care. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Implement and enforce safety protocols related to cleaning procedures and equipment usage. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility. Skills Proven experience in cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Strong background in hotel or hospitality management, with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, showcasing an understanding of various cleaning products and equipment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
