Full Job Description Housekeeping Supervisor Tustin, CA Full Time Wage:
$20/hr DOE Tustin Healthcare, a Generations Health facility is hiring for a full time Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team. Job Description The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in supervising the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Director of Laundry Services, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, and that an adequate supply of laundry/linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents. Responsibilities Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures. Ensure that laundry personnel follow established handwashing procedures. Ensure that refuse is disposed of daily and in accordance with our established sanitation procedures. Ensure that laundry personnel follow established policies governing the use/disposal of personal protective equipment and disposal of infectious wastes. Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with nursing service. Conduct daily inspections of assigned work areas to assure cleanliness and sanitary conditions are maintained. Other(s) that may become necessary/appropriate to assure that our laundry Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
