The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage room attendants and housekeepers, conduct detailed room inspections, manage daily assignments, monitor room readiness, train employees, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest service. Strong computer skills are required. The candidate must be comfortable using hotel systems, email, spreadsheets, housekeeping/PMS systems, and completing required Marriott online courses and training. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily housekeeping operations Assign rooms and monitor room status and productivity Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas Ensure Marriott cleanliness and brand standards are consistently met Identify deficiencies and ensure they are corrected immediately Train, coach, and hold housekeeping staff accountable Ensure all required Marriott courses, training, and certifications are completed on time Work closely with Front Desk and Maintenance to ensure rooms are clean, inspected, and ready for guests Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, inventory, and equipment Assist with scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and employee evaluations Address guest housekeeping concerns professionally and promptly Maintain accurate housekeeping records and daily reports Use hotel computer systems and PMS/housekeeping systems on a daily basis Assist management with Marriott inspections, audits, and quality initiatives Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient housekeeping department Requirements Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience required Hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred Marriott experience preferred Experience with select-service hotels such as SpringHill Suites, Fairfield, Courtyard, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt Place , or similar hotels is a plus Strong computer skills are required Ability to learn and use hotel PMS and housekeeping systems Must be able to complete Marriott training and required courses on time Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to lead, train, and hold employees accountable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed What We Offer Marriott employee discount worldwide 2 weeks PTO Career growth opportunities Training and development opportunities Performance-based advancement opportunities Additional benefits discussed during interview Who We're Looking For We need someone who takes ownership of the housekeeping department .
