Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, to maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness. Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to ensure efficient performance and adherence to safety protocols. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces regularly to guarantee quality control and compliance with brand standards. Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor productivity to optimize team effectiveness. Oversee inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations. Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment maintenance. Requirements Proven supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping or custodial services within the hospitality industry. Strong background in cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning practices, laundry operations, and janitorial services. Excellent management skills with the ability to organize tasks efficiently and motivate teams effectively. Knowledge of hotel or hospitality standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments seamlessly. Previous experience with housekeeping management systems or inventory control is a plus.
