Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation teams in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our facilities. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, and foster a positive environment focused on exceptional service. Your leadership will be vital in creating a welcoming, hygienic, and well-managed space that exceeds guest and client expectations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all areas. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to meet cleanliness standards and deadlines. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with sanitation standards, safety protocols, and quality expectations. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and custodial equipment; place orders as needed. Enforce safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, chemical handling, and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with management to implement improvements in cleaning & sanitation management processes and customer service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, safety regulations, and industrial cleaning procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Effective communication skills for managerial interactions and customer service excellence. Ability to handle janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health guidelines. Prior experience in laundry operations or hospitality environments is a plus.
