SUMMARY Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards throughout the manufacturing facility to support safe and efficient plant operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general daily cleaning duties throughout the manufacturing plant. Maintain and clean all department floor areas in accordance with established safety and housekeeping standards. Remove and dispose of trash and production waste throughout the day Gather and empty trash from workstations, production lines, and common plant areas. Break down cardboard and dispose of materials in designated recycling or waste areas. Clean and maintain assigned custodial equipment and cleaning tools. Assist with special cleaning projects and plant housekeeping initiatives as needed. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and required PPE guidelines at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety procedures and proper chemical use. Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Basic mechanical or maintenance skills are helpful. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work full time. Must comply with all required PPE requirements (e.g., safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, etc.). Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods
