The schedule is Monday-Wednesday-Friday 7 AM - 12:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our Madison, AL. location, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on commercial cleaning standards. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by replenishing supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including changing light bulbs Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Experience Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Required Abilities Able to lift, up to 40 pounds occasionally Able to squat, bend, sit, twist, stand for entire shift.
