Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health standards and safety regulations Maintain floors through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques using appropriate cleaning equipment Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as required Use cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to proper manual handling practices for heavy lifting or moving equipment Clean outdoor areas when necessary, including patios or walkways, ensuring they are free of debris and hazards Communicate professionally with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or requests and ensure their satisfaction with the service provided Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures Knowledge of residential housekeeping standards and commercial cleaning techniques Familiarity with various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools Ability to implement proper sanitation practices across different surfaces and environments Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Previous experience in outdoor work environments or residential cleaning is advantageous Basic knowledge of cleaning surfaces, dusting techniques, and floor care methods Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that make a difference every day!
