DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This is the first level in the Custodial series, requiring some prior experience but no formal training. Advancement to Custodian II or higher positions will require at least 1 year on the job, a demonstrated ability to function independently with general instructions or work orders, to properly handle chemicals, and the ability to perform light maintenance. See job description for additional information. Valid Driver license. Must take and pass the District Custodian I/II Test prior to being hired. Test is available in Spanish.

Test Results/Materials (Custodian I/II Test Results) Comments and Other Information The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus. $10,960 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection. $13,000 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
