$18.00-$18.25 per hour Job Summary We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Daytime Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing high-quality cleaning services. Responsibilities Daytime Porter Cleaning Duties The assigned porter will be responsible for ongoing cleaning and facility maintenance throughout the school day including: Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms throughout the day Restocking restroom supplies as needed Cleaning hallways, stairwells, classrooms, and common areas Cleaning interior and exterior glass doors and entryways Trash removal and replacement of liners Cleaning cafeteria, lunch areas, and student gathering spaces Maintaining cleanliness of playground and exterior entrances Ensuring parking lots and parking levels are kept clear of debris to maintain a clean and professional appearance Immediate response to spills, accidents, or student-related incidents using professional-grade cleaning and disinfecting products Ongoing high-touch surface disinfection throughout the day Qualifications Previous janitorial or commercial Porter experience is preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, walking, and reaching Must be dependable with a strong work ethic Background check required Must speak English Benefits Competitive hourly pay of $18.00-$19.00 per hour Consistent Monday-Friday evening schedule Supportive work environment If you are a hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining clean and sanitary facilities, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team.
