Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for campus buildings to include offices, classrooms, hallways and bathrooms.

Essential Functions:

• Clean, sanitize and stock bathrooms
• Vacuum, sweep, dust mop all floors
• Empty all trash receptacles
• Clean all glass doors and dust surface areas of buildings
• Change light bulbs as needed
• Strip and wax floors semi-annually
• Shampoo and extract all carpeted areas annually
• Clean chalkboards and whiteboards as needed

Supervisory Responsibility :

• Student workers as needed Education and/or

Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required. Minimum two years custodial experience preferred Skills Required
• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment
• Time management skills

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to move freely around campus including going up and down stairs
• Ability to run industrial cleaning equipment
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, climb, etc.

on a daily basis
