Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize all guest accommodations, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, following established cleaning protocols. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded. Perform floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels for each guest stay. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to achieve optimal results. Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific needs or special requests related to housekeeping services. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and other janitorial tools. Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled windows. Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed for property maintenance or outdoor spaces. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Experience with cleaning surfaces using various detergents and disinfectants while adhering to safety protocols. Prior experience in outdoor work or landscaping is a plus but not required.
