Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club is seeking candidates for a Club Area Cleaner who is friendly, organized and able to work independently. The position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the public pool and club areas within the resort (Locker Rooms, Restrooms, Showers, Linx Tavern public areas, etc.). This position is available for the 2026
Season Key Responsibilities Include:
Maintain cleanliness of the public club areas using proper cleaning supplies, tools and equipment; this includes but is not limited to the cleaning of all pool and indoor furniture, light fixtures, wall décor, air vents, doors and windows, fitness equipment, public telephones, baseboards, brass finishes, etc. Ensure security of all assigned keys and radios. Review assigned areas and complete general removal of any trash or debris. Stock cleaning storage area with designated supplies and equipment. Report damaged or badly soiled furniture or fixtures to management. Remove soil, dirt, soap build up and hair from public and employee bathroom mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets/urinals, shower walls, shower curtains and floors. Replace facial and toilet tissues, paper hand towels and soaps in correct amount at locations. Stock sanitary supplies in restrooms. Remove soiled towels from pool area and return them to the laundry. Be familiar with all hotel services/features, local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry. Resolve guest complaints assuring satisfactory resolution and appropriate corrective action steps. Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
Requirements Include:

This position requires that you are professional, attentive, and detail oriented - ensuring that our guests and members have a clean, safe environment. Be upbeat and friendly. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Verbal communication skills - English language. Ability to work well with the general public. Ability to work well under pressure. Must be able to understand the proper use of chemicals, cleaning supplies, and personal protective equipment.
Physical Requirements Include:
Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds Ability to stand throughout shift Bend, lift, kneel, squat, walk up and down stairs
