As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will be responsible for executing cleaning tasks that promote health, safety, and operational excellence across our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help create a welcoming and hygienic space for all team members and visitors. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, aisles, and work areas using floor buffers, sweepers, mops, and other cleaning equipment to ensure a pristine environment. Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination. Conduct custodial duties such as trash removal, sanitation of restrooms, and restocking supplies to maintain high hygiene standards. Execute heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving supplies or equipment around the warehouse. Maintain equipment such as floor buffers and cleaning tools in good working condition through routine maintenance and proper storage. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed for cleaning equipment or infrastructure issues that impact sanitation or safety. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for everyone on site. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or warehouse settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, sanitation procedures, and the use of various cleaning equipment. Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across large facilities. Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with team members or visitors.
